Better Engineering is an important Meta-wide initiative that enables teams to drive improvements in tooling, codebase health, and culture so the company can move faster. We aimed to foster an ecosystem that helps engineers ramp up more quickly and have sustained productivity within their shared codebases, by advocating for consistent prioritization and recognition on Better Engineering investment and impact with engineering leadership. Assessing program ecosystem levers and providing frameworks that teams can leverage to drive bottom-up Better Engineering participation successfully.
