In addition to visual planning, I collaborated with copywriters and producers to script dialogues and interactions, infusing D.A.R.A. Bot with a relatable and approachable tone. These scripts were designed to address common creator challenges while providing actionable tips, making the bot both functional and personable. To bring the concept closer to realization, I also developed minor 3D pre-visualizations, which allowed the team to explore the bot’s physicality, movement, and expressiveness in a dynamic context. This step was crucial in refining the design and ensuring that D.A.R.A. Bot would not only look visually appealing but also feel interactive and engaging.
Through these efforts, I helped shape D.A.R.A. Bot into a multi-dimensional character that went beyond being a simple mascot—it became a valuable resource and a symbol of Facebook Gaming’s commitment to supporting and empowering its creator community.

Data Analysis Resource Assistant aka the DARA Bot was created to showcase Facebook Gaming’s creator support. I was able to head the art direction by providing concept art, detailed description for unit, action script for animation and storyboarding in partnership with the talented agency, SWARD.
After initial kickoff with stakeholders, we wanted to come up with a new marketing campaign that would highlight some of the features Facebook Gaming could provide to our streamers.

Objective
The objective of the D.A.R.A. Bot initiative was to create a personalized and approachable resource for content creators on Facebook Gaming, enhancing their experience and fostering stronger engagement on the platform. Designed as a virtual mascot, D.A.R.A. Bot was developed to provide creators with tailored tips, tools, and updates, simplifying their journey to success. The project aimed to humanize the brand while offering practical support, bridging the gap between creators and the platform. By aligning with Facebook Gaming’s mission to empower creators, D.A.R.A. Bot served as a central touchpoint for community interaction, education, and inspiration, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to creator success.

To bring D.A.R.A. Bot from concept to reality, I took a hands-on approach in developing the character’s personality, design, and functionality. I began by crafting comprehensive storyboards to map out the bot’s interactions and touchpoints, visually narrating how it would engage with creators across various scenarios. These storyboards served as a foundational guide for the team, ensuring a consistent and engaging storyline that aligned with Facebook Gaming’s supportive and empowering mission.
